Dr. Karmela Palma is an expert in Organization Development and Organization Excellence. She serves as the CEO of the International Excellence Institute and is a Co-owner of CK Leisure and Entertainment. Additionally, she has been an adjunct Faculty Member at the De La Salle – College of St. Benilde School of Professional and Continuing Education. Dr. Karmela has also worked as a management consultant for various industries in the Middle East and the Philippines. Outside of work, she served as the Head of Qatar Professional Women’s Network (QPWN) and led the QPWN Mentoring Committee. Additionally, Karmela is one of the Founding Members of IAM Filipina, a non-profit organization in Qatar that supports the development of Filipinas in leadership and management roles. She holds a doctorate degree in Business Administration from San Beda University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with the Outstanding Dissertation and Visionary Award. Additionally, she holds master’s degrees in LLM International Trade and Commercial Law from the University of Essex, United Kingdom, and an Executive MBA from the Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Business.
